One Life-Changing Secret

One of the benefits of Relevant Radio® is that it allows people to learn about the Catholic faith wherever they are. We have heard from many listeners who were not Catholic when they started listening, but find themselves “secretly” listening to Relevant Radio because it is a safe place to learn more about the Catholic Church.

Recently on The Patrick Madrid Show, Lucas shared how listening to Relevant Radio was a secret he kept, but that it ended up changing his life in more ways than one. He told Patrick, “When I was still Protestant, about two years ago, I was actually living outside of Sacramento at the time. And I was kind of exploring the Catholic faith secretly, because I couldn’t let anyone know that I was looking into it. And I happened to turn on the radio and I heard your show on the radio – The Patrick Madrid Show.”

“I thought, ‘This is interesting. This is kind of cool to learn stuff about the faith,'” Lucas said. “And it’s very different than everything else that’s on the radio, so that’s kind of refreshing. So I would turn it on and listen to it, and I found it to be super helpful.”

But his listening didn’t stay a secret for long. Lucas not only was received into the Catholic Church, but he now works for Relevant Radio as a production associate!

Telling Patrick the story of his conversion, Lucas said, “It’s funny because two years later here I am in Green Bay. It’s funny how God works.”
