What are you doing for Lent?

Ash Wednesday is fast approaching. Have you started to consider how you might learn, grow, and deepen your faith during this Lenten Season?

Yes, a season of preparation requires a little preparation in itself. If you wait until the eve of Ash Wednesday, you risk making a quick and rushed decision that might not result in the Lent you hoped for. However, if you give yourself time to pray and think about how you’d like to focus your Lenten journey, you’ll be better equipped for a fruitful liturgical season.

Start by praying about your weaknesses and ways you’d like to improve in virtue or faith, or any good habits you’d like to form. Choose Lenten goals that you believe would help you the most in growing closer to Christ and fulfilling your call to become a saint. Remember not to take on too many things at once and to set challenging yet realistic goals.
