We are in the last days of the Relevant Radio® Give From the Heart Pledge Drive, and listeners like you have not only been generous in sharing their financial gifts, but have been generous in sharing stories from the heart as well.
When you support Relevant Radio, you are helping to bring the message of Christ to the world. And that is having a real impact on the lives of countless listeners. We have received so many testimonies this week, it would be too much to share them all. But here are some highlights of just ONE DAY of our pledge drive.
When you give to Relevant Radio, you are helping people like Alice in Wisconsin find hope and healing. Alice told us:
“I am grateful to Relevant Radio for getting me through a most difficult time in my life. My husband committed suicide eight months ago. I was so angry at him, at God, at the world. JUST ANGRY! My neighbor suggested I listen to Relevant Radio – it might help. I listened a bit while driving to and from work. Then one day I found myself sitting in the work parking lot to listen to the end of a show! I started listening at home, then at work, and now my day isn’t complete without ‘my daily dose’ of Relevant Radio. With the help of God and Relevant Radio, I am healing.”
We also hear from many people for whom Relevant Radio is a companion and a lifeline to their faith community. Listening to Relevant Radio can help those who are lonely or homebound know they are not alone. Betty from Arizona told us:
“I felt so alone. Then I found the Rosary on your radio station. Now I pray with and for others. I’m homebound and with the Rosary I’ve found a new purpose. Thank you for being there for people like me.”
And it’s not just individuals that Relevant Radio is helping. Marriages and families are being saved through your prayers and support. A listener named Amanda told us:
“I left a prayer on your prayer line asking for help with my broken marriage. My prayer was answered. We are now seeing a priest and honestly talking to each other. Thank you.”
