Relevant Radio prays novena for reopening of churches

There was a time in very recent history when every single diocese in the United States had suspended public Masses. We know that you desire to be present for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, and we want that for you, too. Father Rocky and Relevant Radio® have promised to celebrate Holy Mass for you every day until the churches reopen, but we’re also praying that all of our listeners will be able to return to their local parishes and be physically present for the sacraments.

During this time of pandemic, we need Our Lady’s help and intercession. While the pandemic rages on in some parts of the world and threatens the lives and livelihoods of so many of our brothers and sisters, we must ask the Blessed Mother to come to our aid.

“We’re going to do a novena … to pray for an end to the pandemic and for all the churches to open for everyone without restriction,” said Fr. Rocky. “That’s what we’re praying for because the sacraments are essential for eternal life.”

The Marian Pentecost Novena begins on May 21, Ascension Thursday, and goes to Pentecost on May 31, which is also the Feast of the Visitation. Each day of the Novena, Fr. Rocky will share a short reflection, which you can sign up to receive via email each day.

Fr. Rocky said, “With Our Lady’s help, we can change the course of history for the better, even now during the current crisis in which we find ourselves.  Let us entrust this time to our Mother Mary and watch the Holy Spirit act.”
