This time of quarantine has been difficult for people in different ways. Some are grieving the loss of loved ones, others have lost their jobs. Some are juggling their children’s school and working from home, while others are quarantined by themselves and struggling with loneliness. It’s times like these when we appreciate even more the things that make life a little better, the things that keep us connected. So what’s been your lifeline during this pandemic?
Over the past few months we have heard from countless listeners who have told us that Relevant Radio® has been their lifeline. With parishes closed, they have felt connected to the Eucharist by live streaming daily and Sunday Mass. Though we are not able to pray in person with our parish community, families from across the country are coming together to pray the Family Rosary Across America® each evening. Programs like The Drew Mariani Show™ and A Closer Look™ help them stay up-to-date on news and current events while still remaining anchored to their faith and hope.
A listener named Kathy called in to The Patrick Madrid Show recently and told Patrick, “We all have our trials and it’s been difficult. But God is using these things in my life to draw me closer to him. I want to thank you and Relevant Radio for being there. You are so helpful to all of our spiritual growth, and our calm during all of the panic going on. So thank you for that.”
