Queen of Martyrs

Here are the martyrs that come to my mind: The Missionaries of Charity, the order founded by St. Mother Theresa, in Yemen, March 14, 2016. The 21 Egyptian Coptic Martyrs killed by ISIS on the coast of Libya in 2015. The Coptic Martyrs of Cairo, 2011. The Martyrs of Baghdad, 2010. The Martyrs of Pakistan, 2009. The Cistercian Monks, Martyrs of Tibherine, Algeria, 1996. Blessed Jerzy Popiełuszko, 1984. The Martyrs of Barbastro, 1936. The Martyrs of Vietnam. The Martyrs of China. The Martyrs of Japan. The North American Martyrs, 1646. The Mexican Martyrs. St. Miguel Pro. St. Jose Sanchez del Rio. St. Maria Goretti. The Martyrs of Georgia, 1597. The Carmelite Nuns, Martyrs of the French Revolution Reign of Terror. The Martyrs of Rwanda. The Martyrs of East Timor. The Martyrs of Uganda. The Martyrs of the Reign of Diocletian. The Martyrs of Nero. It could be a litany in itself.

Queen of Martyrs, pray for the needs of the Church and the nation.

On Fridays we pray the Sorrowful Mysteries.
