In this Sunday’s Gospel Jesus speaks to us about the response given to the invitation given by God who is represented by a king to participate in a wedding banquet. None of the intended guests showed up. Just as the king invited the guests, Jesus freely gives of Himself to us. He offers His joy and so many other gifts. Let us not make excuses but respond to the beautiful gift of grace that God freely offers us.
