Today we celebrate the feast of Pope Saint Callistus, who died in the year 222. He was either killed in an uprising against Christians or died of mistreatment, but either way he is considered a martyr. You and I need to be ready for opposition or even downright persecution. May we pray that in these time we may remain strong in defense of our faith in Jesus Christ and His Church.
