In the first reading at today’s Mass, God calls us to be compassionate as He is compassionate. Sometimes that means putting ourselves in others shoes and responding to them as someone would respond to us if we were in that situation. We were all once vulnerable babies in our mother’s womb. We should always care for the innocent unborn because we were once where they are and were nourished and cared for. It all comes down to love of God and neighbor. You can’t have one without the other.
