Today is the first Saturday of November, a day to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary and her Immaculate Heart. It is also a time to pray for the deceased. Mary can play a special role in our sorrows, grief and our prayers and suffering because she experienced great sorrow through the death of her son Jesus on the cross.
