Happy Birthday, Relevant Radio!

We won’t object if you want to join us in a rousing rendition of “Happy Birthday”. Do you know why? Today is our birthday!

How old are you, how old are you…?

Thanks for asking! We are TWENTY years old today! On this day in 2000, Relevant Radio® received our very first station license from the FCC. It’s so humbling and astonishing to see how far we’ve come since that one little station in Wisconsin became a Catholic radio network of 190 stations that spans the entire nation!

But this story isn’t just about us. No, not in the slightest! We recognize that Relevant Radio could never have made it this far without the support, hard work, and sacrifices of the many associates, board members, bishops, clergy, volunteers, listeners, and donors who have given of their time, gifts, and prayers over the past 20 years. YOU have made such an incredible impact in advancing our mission of bringing Christ to the world through the media.

And of course, we could never forget the very center of our mission—Jesus Christ, whose Body and Blood sustains us and gives us courage and drive to spread His Good News throughout the world. At His side are our patron saints—Our Lady of Guadalupe (whose feast day is today!), St. Joseph, and others whose intercession has helped us along this journey.

As a thank you for your support as a Relevant Radio listener, we want to give you the gift of our prayers. How may we pray for you this Advent season? Send us your prayer requests so that we may remember them in our daily Masses, Chaplet of Divine Mercy, and Family Rosary Across America. And please remember us in your prayers as we embark on the next 20 years of service to Christ and His Church.

Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us!

With unending thanks and gratitude,
Your Relevant Radio Family
