The Power of Divine Mercy in Your Life

Many listeners pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy with us at Relevant Radio® – in fact, it’s one of our most popular programs! But why do so many people have such a devotion to the Chaplet of Divine Mercy? Partly because of how powerful the prayer is, and how they have seen it work in their own lives and the lives of others.

Fr. James Kubicki, SJ, a regular Morning Air® contributor, said of Relevant Radio airing the Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3pm CT each day, “I know there were times when people were saying ‘Well, why don’t you use that time for some other things that would be more important, more topical, more part of the news? And Relevant Radio stayed strict in making it that the beginning of the Hour of Mercy we would pray the Chaplet together. And it’s one of the highlights of the Relevant Radio listening day, I think. Because people call in from all over with prayer intentions, asking all of us to pray together for particular intentions.”

Thousands of people have called in with their prayer requests during the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, and we have heard from many listeners of the prayers that were answered thanks to praying this powerful devotion.

Morning Air host John Harper, told his story, saying, “I remember calling Drew one afternoon. It was Christmas Eve 2015 and my mom had a small stroke. We’re in the hospital, there are the neurosurgeons, and of course I’ve been praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet all along in her very slow recovery period. It was perhaps five months later, and we went to the neurologist and took another picture and another CT scan. And he said, ‘She’s perfectly fine.’

I said, ‘Wait a minute, say that again?’ And he said, “She’s perfectly fine. Let me show you the picture. The brain bleed is completely gone.’ There’s the power of the Divine Mercy Chaplet.”

Below are some notes we have received from listeners that testify to the power of the Divine Mercy Chaplet in their lives.

A listener named Lydia told us, “Last year I wrote asking for prayers for Baby Gabriel, who the doctors had said would not survive. Yesterday, Baby Gabriel celebrated his first birthday. Praise be to God!”

Patrick shared his powerful testimony, saying, “I want to let you know that because of Relevant Radio and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, I’m free of 45 years of childhood suffering, depression, sexual addiction, suicide attempts, and PTSD. I never had hope or love until I started listening to Relevant Radio. I want to personally thank you for your dedication and service to people who are hopeless.”

And Meredith sent a note of encouragement, saying, “Every time you share a miracle on the air it bolsters my faith that much more.”
