Much of the modern world and even some Christians embrace the “prosperity Gospel.” But Jesus never said that life would be easy; He never said there wouldn’t be suffering. If you are going through something hard right now, don’t forget that you can offer that up for a loved one. Use your suffering for good; it’s an important part of the Catholic faith!
