Matt Beardsley, Honoring Veterans; Fr. James Kubicki, Catholic Church’s Teaching on Military Service

John and Glen comment on the Rittenhouse court case and honoring Veterans on this day dedicated to their service and sacrifice.
Matt talks about his service and experiences in the Navy and how his Catholic faith matured through that time. He notes that recognizing the service of the men and women in the armed forces is important and urges listeners to do so whenever they can.
Fr. Kubicki explains the catholic Churches teaching on the military and war through the 5th commandment and a person’s right to self defense and obligation to protect innocent life.
Fr. Kubicki gives a brief history on Armistice Day and how it became Veteran’s Day and the life of St. Martin Tours that we celebrate today.
