Breaking News! Roe v. Wade Overturned

Note: this article was originally written and published on June 24, 2022.

Today, on the feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, we pray in thanksgiving to God for the historic overturning of Roe v. Wade with the released Supreme Court ruling on Dobbs v. Jackson. 460,426,921 Memorares, a 405-day novena during the Family Rosary Across America, and countless days of fasting have led to this decision – we are seeing firsthand that prayer is more powerful than politics.

A statement from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops says it best:

“Now is the time to begin the work of building a post-Roe America… a time for healing wounds and repairing social divisions; it is a time for reasoned reflection and civil dialogue, and for coming together to build a society and economy that supports marriages and families… where every woman has the support and resources she needs to bring her child into this world in love.”

There’s still work for us to do and ways for us to help mothers and children all across the nation. Read the statement from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and tune in today for some insight on getting involved:

With prayers and best wishes,
