Relevant Radio Named Top Sponsor of the 2024 National Eucharistic Congress

As recently announced by the executive team of the 10th National Eucharistic Congress, the NEC has partnered with some of the most influential Catholic organizations in the world to support the mission of this international renewal project. Amongst that list of partners is Relevant Radio, the NEC’s top sponsor and a constant, dedicated supporter of the Eucharistic Revival. The National Eucharistic Congress will be held July 17-21, 2024 in Indianapolis, IN, and is an initiative created by the USCCB that is intended to renew the Catholic Church in the United States by bringing forth an encounter with the living Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. Alongside Relevant Radio’s sponsorship, the NEC has also partnered with The Augustine Institute, Franciscan University of Steubenville, EWTN, Our Sunday Visitor, and the Knights of Columbus.

“One thing has been consistent with every partnership that has developed from these organizations – they all have rolled up their sleeves and asked, ‘How else can we help?’” noted Cande de Leon, Chief Advancement Officer for the National Eucharistic Congress, Inc. “It gives me great joy to see the commitment of these organizations with regard to helping the Church and truly wanting to bring people to Jesus in the Eucharist.”

Since 2000, Relevant Radio has been broadcasting the Word of God to listeners everywhere. Providing informative, entertaining, and interactive programming, Relevant Radio broadcasts on over 200 stations across America in all major markets, and globally through online streaming and our mobile app to touch hearts everywhere. “When we learned about the Congress, we immediately knew this would be a great benefit to the Church and to souls, since the Holy Eucharist is Jesus Christ Himself,” said Rev. Francis Joseph Hoffman (Fr. Rocky), Chairman and CEO of Relevant Radio. “We encourage our listeners to attend and partner in prayer for a successful Congress. All positive, sustainable, and transformative change in the Church is rooted in our love for and encounter with the Holy Eucharist.”

Relevant Radio is tremendously proud to stand alongside these organizations as a mission partner and the premier sponsor of the National Eucharistic Revival and the Congress coming in 2024. Such a statement affirms the omnipresent idea that our mission remains one and the same: Bringing Christ to the world through the media. Relevant Radio is committed to that objective, and as there is no better way to bring God to His people than through the Eucharist, our partnership with the NEC is one founded in unity of vocation and goal.

The Augustine Institute equips Catholics intellectually, spiritually, and pastorally through its Graduate School of Theology, academic and parish programs, and multimedia resources. “The Augustine Institute’s mission is to help Catholics understand, live, and share their faith. At the heart of our faith is the abiding presence of Jesus Christ in the Most Holy Eucharist,” said Dr. Tim Gray, president of the Augustine Institute.

As a “passionately Catholic” university, the Eucharist has always been the wellspring of Franciscan University of Steubenville’s spiritual life and at the heart of their Steubenville Conferences. “Year after year, we have seen the power of Jesus in the Eucharist heal, renew, and unify our students, faculty, staff, and conference guests, so we’re excited to help stir up a greater love for the Holy Eucharist,” said University President Fr. Dave Pivonka, TOR ‘89.

A faithful provider of Catholic programming and news coverage from around the world, EWTN is one of today’s largest religious media networks. Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of EWTN Global Catholic Network Michael P. Warsaw said, “When Mother Angelica founded EWTN over four decades ago, she built the network around her community’s chapel where the Eucharist was adored twenty-four hours each day. Today, devotion to Our Lord in the Eucharist still remains physically and spiritually at the heart of the EWTN apostolate.”

Serving millions of Catholics through its publishing, offertory, and communication services, Our Sunday Visitor has been a supporter of the National Eucharistic Revival and Congress from the beginning. “The Church in the United States is facing unprecedented challenges that can only be solved by a return to the heart of Christianity, our encounter with Christ. Encountering Christ in the Eucharist, Catholics will go forth from Indianapolis to encounter Him in everyone they meet—and to invite them, in turn, to encounter Christ in His Church,” said Publisher Scott P. Richert.

The Knights of Columbus are led by Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly, who announced in August 2021 that the Order would be a major sponsor of the revival. Kelly said, “At the heart of the mission of every Knight of Columbus should be ever-deepening closeness to the person of Jesus Christ. He is unity and charity incarnate, and he is the source of authentic fraternity. This is why the Knights of Columbus strongly supports the National Eucharistic Revival in the United States.”
