Oh man, this episode of the Family Rosary Across America with Fr. Rocky and Maggie was cozy and full of warmth: literally and spiritually! 🕊️ While the weather was chilly, the atmosphere was warm and fuzzy, thanks to heartfelt prayers, Maggie’s baby-heater (her sleeping little Michael Joseph 🍼), and Fr. Rocky being lovingly mistaken for a doctor: again and again. 😂
Here’s the deal: caller after caller kept slipping up and calling Fr. Rocky “Doctor.” First up, Marilyn from California was like, “Hi Doctor: oops, I mean Father!” But she quickly recovered, saying, “Well, you ARE a soul doctor!” Nailed it, Marilyn. 👏 Fr. Rocky ran with it, reminding everyone that he does help with the ultimate healing of souls. 🩺🙏
Marilyn had a touching prayer request for her daughters to be blessed with children and for healing for her son battling a rare nerve condition. Fr. Rocky gave her some soul-doctor advice, recommending a pilgrimage like the Walk to Mary or another shrine. Solid spiritual Rx, Doc: I mean, Father! 💊✝️
Then Alice from Whittier, CA, chimed in, also dropping the “Doctor” title. 😂 She asked for prayers to protect Malibu from the fires threatening thousands of homes and Pepperdine College. Fr. Rocky reminded everyone of Our Lady of Champion, who miraculously stopped a fire back in 1871. Let’s just say he prescribed some serious intercessory prayer for California. 🙏🔥
