An Update from Rome on Pope Francis’ Health – Monday / 2-24 (Morning Air)

John Morales talks with Ashley Noronha, reporting straight from Rome, for the latest on Pope Francis’ health.

Here’s what you need to know:

Pope Francis is still in the hospital, recovering after a pretty rough patch. Things got serious with some critical health concerns, including a mild renal failure, but good news: it’s now under control.

A blood transfusion helped boost his energy levels and he’s on high-flow oxygen therapy to support his breathing.

Though he missed the Sunday Angelus (for the second week in a row), he sent out a message, thanking hospital staff and asking for prayers, especially for victims of global conflicts.

Masses and Rosaries are being offered all over Rome, from St. John Lateran to St. Peter’s Basilica.

Despite what’s going on, Pope Francis’ humor is still alive and well.

So, keep praying the Rosary, light a candle, and let’s keep Pope Francis close in our hearts. 🙏💙
