An Update on Pope Francis’ Health – Thursday / 2-27 (Morning Air)

Here’s an update from Morning Air on how Pope Francis is doing.:

John and Glen report that he is hanging in there and showing some improvement.

He slept well last night (good news!).

He’s still on high-flow oxygen therapy, but no major breathing crises lately.

His kidney issues have improved (big sigh of relief there).

A recent CT scan showed progress in his lung inflammation.

He’s been sitting up in a chair, which means he’s getting some strength back.

Even while recovering in the hospital, he’s writing letters of encouragement! One surfaced recently, where he comforted a grieving mother. What a shepherd.

The World is Praying for Him

Remember when Pope Francis stood alone in St. Peter’s Square during the pandemic, praying for the world’s strength and healing? Now, John and Glen remind us that the world is praying for him. Thousands have gathered in that very same square for the third night in a row to pray the Rosary for his recovery. Relevant Radio listeners across the country are lifting him up in the Family Rosary Across America, Daily Mass, and the Divine Mercy Chaplet.

So, if you haven’t already, take a moment today to say a prayer for the Holy Father; if there’s one thing we know, it’s that prayer changes things. 🙌💙
