Green Bay, WI — Relevant Radio celebrated its 25th anniversary with a weekend of celebration and pilgrimage, beginning with a sold-out spaghetti dinner on Friday night, May 2, 2025, and culminating in the 12th Annual Walk to Mary on Saturday, May 3rd.
Held at the historic Riverside Ballroom in Green Bay, the Friday night event, An Evening of Celebration, welcomed listeners, supporters, and staff from across the country. The sold-out gathering featured a hearty spaghetti dinner, joyful conversation, and a spirit of unity in faith.
Guests were thrilled to meet the Family Rosary Across America team in person and participate in a live national broadcast of the rosary, bringing hearts and prayers together from coast to coast.
Inspiring talks were delivered by Bishop David L. Ricken and Father Rocky, CEO of Relevant Radio, who shared moving stories and reflections on the network's mission.
The evening also included a special moment when Peter Atkinson, VP of Marketing and Communications and founder of The Merry Beggars, introduced a video trailer for the newest Saints podcast series, Our Lady of Champion.
The evening also included a sold-out Sacred Concert at the Cathedral of St. Francis Xavier, capping off a profound and joyful celebration.
It was a night filled with joy, gratitude, and celebration of 25 years of bringing Christ to the world through the media.
The celebration continued the next morning with the largest-ever Walk to Mary pilgrimage. Despite the chilly 40-degree temperature, 7,306 registered pilgrims, and many more who joined along the way, embarked on a 22-mile journey from the National Shrine of St. Joseph in De Pere, WI to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion.
Thousands of Relevant Radio hats, sunglasses, and Our Lady of Champion podcast materials were distributed to pilgrims and supporters.
Pilgrims came from across the country, each carrying personal intentions. Some walked in thanksgiving for a new baby, others prayed for a spouse, healing, or the repose of a loved one’s soul. Participants included people of all ages and abilities, from infants in strollers to individuals in wheelchairs, all united in prayer.
This year saw record-breaking crowds at both shrines and a seamless execution of the pilgrimage, thanks in part to dozens of Relevant Radio Associates and their families who volunteered to help.
The event also featured multiple Masses, including those celebrated by Bishop Ricken of Green Bay and Bishop Walsh of Gaylord, MI.
Gathered around the dinner table and walking the long road to Our Lady, the entire weekend reflected a shared mission: to grow closer to Christ and bring His love to the world.
