Patrick Madrid plays a short but powerful message from Pope Leo XIV, who spoke to a packed stadium in Chicago… Guaranteed Rate Field, to be exact, via video from the Vatican.

It’s only about 8 or so minutes long, but wow… it hits home. It’s the kind of thing that makes you go, “Yeah… we really needed to hear that.”

💬 What Did Pope Leo Say?

In his calm, kind, slightly Peruvian-accented English, Pope Leo spoke right to the heart. Some highlights:

🕊️ The Trinity is love, and we’re invited into that love.

🤝 We need community now more than ever… real friendship, not just likes and follows.

🧑‍🎓 He gave a special shout-out to young people, especially those feeling disconnected or alone.

💛 God loves you; not because you earned it, but because He just does.

✨ He reminded us that we’re all called to be a light of hope in a world that’s feeling pretty dark.

🙏 Patrick’s Reflections

Patrick points out how much this message matters right now, when people are tired, angry, suspicious, and worn out.

That part about opening your heart to God’s love? Patrick says that’s the line we need to really sit with. It’s easy to forget… but God is still pouring out His love on us. Constantly. And all He asks is that we share it.

Give this a listen and maybe play it for someone else too. The world needs more of this kind of hope right now.
