On today’s Inner Life, Fr. Marcel Taillon joins to help us in reconciling with God.
- Janet – I currently go to the parish near my house. I have a hard time going to confession there. I find myself going somewhere else because I’m embarrassed and they might judge me since I know the priest.
- Break 1
- Theresa – Going to confession when you have mortal sins. Confessing the same things over and over. My experience, it gives you the grace to not do that anymore. Going to confession gives me that grace. Don’t wait until it’s mortal sin.
- Saskia – I’m new, not a Catholic, but going to start OCIA soon. I went to confession once and told the priest I didn’t know what to do. I almost committed a mortal sin. Would I have to confess that?
- What about sins that are hard to confess like abortion? How do I get over this fear?
- LJ – Do parish priests recognize your voice or even a medal hanging on your neck?
