The afternoon begins with a special broadcast of the Family Rosary Across America

1:30pm CT: Beatification Mass of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen

Beatification Mass celebrated by Cardinal Luis Tagle as the official papal representative, with broadcast coverage anchored by Drew Mariani & Brooke Taylor.

During the Mass:

1. The Rite of Beatification will take place.
2. The Apostolic Letter from the Pope will be read, first in Latin and then in English.
3. The new portrait of Blessed Fulton Sheen will be unveiled, and his relic will be presented and incensed.
4. A Hymn of Thanksgiving will be sung.
5. Mass will continue with the Collect, or Opening Prayer, from the proper Mass of the new Blessed.
6. The celebration of Mass will then continue as normal.
