Fr. Aaron Wessman: “The Church’s Mission in a Polarized World”

Fr. Aaron Wessman studied abroad in Belgium for three or four years. And when he returned in 2018, he was shocked at the state of the United States: It was torn, divided, and polarized by political issues and the culture.

Naturally, this affects the Church, especially its body, its members living in this country. Division causes confusion and confusion causes more division. So he wrote a book, The Church’s Mission in a Polarized World. It seeks to spread a message of peace and unity. We Catholics share the same Faith, the same Sacraments, the same God, present in the Eucharist. There should be nothing standing in our way of unity.
