Pray for your loved ones who have died.
Submit the names of your deceased loved ones. During the Holy Souls Novena, the Relevant Radio family will remember each of them by name at a Novena of Masses.
Submit Your Loved Ones’ NamesRemembering those who have gone before us.
On November 2, the day after All Saints, the Church keeps All Souls’ Day, when we remember all the faithful departed. November is the month the Church sets aside to pray for the Holy Souls in Purgatory.
The souls in Purgatory are assured of Heaven. They are still being purified so they can enter its joy, and our prayers help them on the way (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1030–1032). God’s people have offered these prayers since before the time of Christ.
“It is therefore a holy and wholesome thought to pray for the dead, that they may be loosed from sins.”
2 Maccabees 12:46
That is the heart of this novena. Beginning on All Souls’ Day, the Relevant Radio family will pray for your loved ones by name for nine days, at Mass and on air.
Submit Your Loved Ones’ Names
Submit as many names as you wish. Fr. Rocky will walk with you through all nine days, with a short reflection emailed each morning beginning November 2.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon them.
May the souls of the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
