An October Update and Good News!

We are nearing the end of our 54-day Rosary Novena for the Needs of the Church and the Nation. 43,000 faithful Catholics have joined me in this novena. 53 Hail Marys prayed each day by 43,000 people for 54 days is over 123,000,000 Hail Marys! Wow! That’s incredibly powerful.

Remember the parable that Jesus taught us: “I tell you, if he does not get up to give him the loaves because of their friendship, he will get up to give him whatever he needs because of his persistence”? (Luke 11:8.) If 123 million Hail Marys isn’t persistence, I don’t know what is! God is listening to our prayers and will answer them according to His will.

In thanksgiving for 54 days of prayer, we will celebrate a special Mass on November 1, the Solemnity of All Saints. Join me at noon CT on relevantradio.com or the Relevant Radio app. Here’s what else is on the horizon:

  • Election Day is next Tuesday, November 3. Please vote! For help with forming your Catholic conscience, download my free E-Book!
  • The US observed National Estate Planning Awareness Week during October. If you’d like assistance in making a free will, we can help!
  • Advent is just one month away. Stay tuned for more information about this year’s Advent Inspirations!
  • Earlier in the month, we gave outdoor nativity sets to 200 listeners. We’re so grateful for the outpouring of participation and we hope you will join all of us in Making Room for Christ this Advent and Christmas season.

November is the Month of the Holy Souls, so we want to pray for repose of the souls of your loved ones! From November 16-24, I will celebrate a Novena of Masses for the Holy Souls in Purgatory. Send us their names at relevantradio.com/souls so we may pray for them during Mass in the Chapel of the Nativity at Relevant Radio. On that page you’ll also find a prayer for the Holy Souls that we’ll pray together at Mass.

Remember that as the days get shorter, your radio signal may change. Did you know that AM radio stations are required to reduce power at sunset? Because of the way radio waves travel at nighttime, stations must reduce power to avoid massive interference with other frequencies. But don’t forget, there are many other ways to tune in during evening or early morning hours!

This is the time of year that we especially remember to be thankful, and we sure are thankful for you! Thank you for listening, supporting, and praying with us and for us. We always need your prayers and we remember you in our prayers, too! God bless you and your loved ones.

With prayers and gratitude,

Rev. Francis J. Hoffman, "Fr. Rocky" is the Executive Director/CEO of Relevant Radio and a priest of Opus Dei.
