In today’s Gospel, Jesus says “ask and you shall receive.” Sometimes when we pray, we don’t necessarily receive what we asked for. Jesus finishes this Gospel by saying “how much more will the Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him.” The best gift we could ever want from God is His Holy Spirit.
