The Inner Life February 22nd – The Feast of the Chair of St. Peter

The Feast of the Chair of St Peter. Why do we have a feast day for a chair? What is the point of it? Would that be considered worship of an Idol? Wouldn’t it make more sense to just make the feast day “the Feast of St Peter”? Father Eric Nielsen joins The Inner Life to explain why we have a feast day for The Chair of St Peter.

Caller Question – How did the Church end up where it is at today with all the division?

Caller Question – In regards to the reading today, how is it determined what is bound on Earth and loosed on Earth?

Caller Story – He looks to St Peter as a role model for him as the head of his own household.
