Novena for Peace and The Holy Father’s Consecration

On March 15th, Pope Francis announced that he will consecrate Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on Friday, March 25th. Each time a country has been consecrated to Our Lady, her intercession has been strongly felt in the following days. As we prepare for this historic event in the hopes of lasting peace, we invite you to join Drew Mariani starting March 16th at 3 PM CT as he begins a Novena for Peace.

The novena will be every day on The Drew Mariani Show beginning today, March 16 until Thursday, March 24; you can also join us in prayer on the Family Rosary Across America at 7 PM CT every night.

Tune in for live updates and coverage of the consecration in Rome on March 25. Until then, prepare with us for this historic call for Our Lady’s powerful intercession.

Queen of Peace, pray for us!

Novena for Peace to Our Lady of Fatima

O Queen of the Rosary, Sweet Virgin
of Fatima, who has deigned to appear
in the land of Portugal, we beg you
to watch over our dear homeland and
assure its moral and spiritual revival.
Bring back peace to all the nations of
the world so that all, our own nation
In particular, may be happy to call you
their Queen and the Queen of Peace.

Amen.

Pope Francis’ Prayer for Peace

Lord God of peace, hear our prayer!

We have tried so many times and over so many years to resolve our conflicts by our own powers and by the force of our arms. How many moments of hostility and darkness have we experienced; how much blood has been shed; how many lives have been shattered; how many hopes have been buried… But our efforts have been in vain.

Now, Lord, come to our aid! Grant us peace, teach us peace; guide our steps in the way of peace. Open our eyes and our hearts, and give us the courage to say: “Never again war!”; “With war everything is lost”. Instill in our hearts the courage to take concrete steps to achieve peace. Entreat us to turn our weapons of war into implements of peace, our trepidation into confident trust, and our quarreling into forgiveness.

May peace triumph at last, and may the words “division”, “hatred” and “war” be banished from the heart of every man and woman. Lord, defuse the violence of our tongues and our hands. Renew our hearts and minds, so that the word which always brings us together will be “brother”, and our way of life will always be that of: Shalom, Peace, Salaam!

Amen.
