This episode of Morning Air brought all the 🔥 energy of the March for Life 2025 straight to your ears! John Morales sat down with Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America, who joined from the streets of Washington, D.C., to give us the inside scoop. 🔥👶
Kristan emphasized that the work is far from over. Overturning Roe was just the beginning; now, the focus is on:
Ending taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood (They get $700 million of your tax dollars each year 🤯).
Tackling the chemical abortion pill crisis.
Exposing how deeply the abortion industry has its claws in politics (looking at you, Planned Parenthood lobbyists 👀).
Kristan isn’t afraid to call it out: the abortion lobby has a stranglehold on Washington.
✨ The March: A Transformational Experience
Kristan shared how life-changing the March for Life is, especially for young people. She revealed that 85% of her staff at Students for Life first felt called to the pro-life mission at this very event. ❤️ It’s a vocational awakening that ignites hearts and inspires people to dedicate their lives to defending the unborn.
Kristan emphasized that we need the largest, best trained, and most passionate pro-life army in history to win this battle.
💡 Trump, DeSantis, and Pro-Life Politics
This year’s speaker lineup was stacked:
Former President Trump (via video)
Governor Ron DeSantis
Senator J.D. Vance
Kristan mentioned Trump’s recent move to pardon 23 pro-lifers who were arrested for peacefully praying or advocating outside abortion facilities. Among them was a Holocaust survivor; let that sink in. 🕊️
Kristan sees this as a sign that the political tide is turning, but she was quick to remind listeners: this is no time to relax. The pro-life movement needs action, persistence, and prayer to keep the momentum going.
Defund Planned Parenthood, Fund Families
One of the loudest cries from this year’s March was the call to defund Planned Parenthood and redirect those taxpayer dollars to support families in need. 🍼 Kristan and her team delivered 50,000 petitions to Congress demanding an end to Planned Parenthood’s funding. She pointed out that this is a human rights issue.
Get this: Kristan says students on college campuses are shocked when they hear about Planned Parenthood’s influence and the abortion lobby’s extreme agenda. (She’s even had to print out congressional roll calls to prove it’s real! 😳)
🌟 Why We March
Kristan’s message was clear: the March for Life is about more than just showing up. It’s about becoming the “Davids who will take on Goliath.” It’s about fighting for a world where every child is cherished, and every mother is supported.
This year’s theme, “Life: Why We March”, reminded everyone why this fight matters. Kristan put it perfectly:
“We serve a God who spoke the universe into existence. Surely, through Him, we can abolish abortion.”
TL;DR: The Battle Isn’t Over
The March for Life 2025 was a call to action. Kristan Hawkins is fired up, the post-Roe generation is mobilized, and the pro-life movement isn’t slowing down. From defunding Planned Parenthood to building a culture of life, the message is clear: the real work begins now.
Kristan said, this is the beginning of the end of abortion, not the end. So, zip up your boots, grab your signs, and let’s make America pro-life again. 🙌
