The Nation’s Premiere Catholic Apologist and long-time show host on Relevant Radio, Patrick Madrid, has been awarded an honorary Doctorate of Sacred Theology from Holy Apostles College & Seminary in recognition of his decades of service to the Church.

Holy Apostles praised Madrid for his work as a Catholic author, apologist, teacher, and broadcaster whose ministry has reached countless listeners across the country through The Patrick Madrid Show on Relevant Radio.
The college also highlighted Madrid’s longstanding contribution to Holy Apostles itself. As an adjunct faculty member, he spent many years helping form students both academically and spiritually, supporting the school’s mission of faithful Catholic higher education and leadership formation.
Madrid reflected warmly on his time with the institution, noting that he taught apologetics there for ten years, serving three semesters each year as an adjunct professor.
He expressed particular appreciation for the college’s commitment to accessible Catholic education, especially its online degree programs designed for working adults seeking to deepen their faith and formation while balancing family and professional responsibilities.
Throughout his career, Patrick Madrid has become one of the most recognizable voices in Catholic media. Through his books, lectures, debates, and daily radio program, he has spent decades helping Catholics better understand and defend the Faith with clarity, charity, and conviction.
The honorary doctorate stands as a recognition not only of his academic contributions, but also of his enduring commitment to evangelization and catechesis in service to the Church.
