Today the Church celebrates the conversion of St. Paul. Not long after holding the garments for the men who stoned St. Stephen to death, Saul was on his way to Damascus to round up other Christians. On the way, Jesus appeared to him, blinded him, and spoke to him asking why Saul had been persecuting Him.
