VIDEO: Ireland post-referendum on abortion and pre-papal visit

Ireland finds itself in a somewhat awkward situation, says Fr. Gerard Whelan, SJ, as it has recently voted to legalize abortion and will soon be hosting the World Meeting of Families 2018 and a papal visit from Pope Francis. Fr. Whelan hopes that the pope’s visit will help to revitalize the faith and values of the Irish people.
