An Interview with Tammy Peterson (The Cale Clarke Show)

Have you heard that Tammy Peterson, the wife of Dr. Jordan Peterson, will be converting to Catholicism? That fills our hearts with joy! Cale Clarke had the chance to talk to her about her transformative journey into Christ’s one true Church.

It took a lot of sickness and heartbreak to get there, however. Tammy discusses her diagnosis of terminal renal cell carcinoma amidst her husband’s rise to fame. Despite a successful initial surgery, a rare and more serious type of cancer was discovered, giving her an estimated ten months to live.

Tammy recounts the stress of her illness paralleled by the success of Jordan Peterson’s book tour. She tells you about Queenie, a convert to Catholicism and a supportive friend who brought Tammy a Rosary and prayed with her in the hospital. Despite not having prayed the Rosary before, Tammy found solace in the practice, which she continued after leaving the hospital.

Additionally, she mentions Father Eric Nicolai, who blessed her and gave her the Opus Dei Novena to pray for the sick. This coincided with a miraculous recovery on her wedding anniversary, as the leak in her lymph system healed on the fifth day of the Novena, allowing her to return home. She saw the grief in her son’s eyes and realized that she had so much to give to the world, giving her the strength to carry on.

Tammy reflects on the power of prayer during her ordeal, sharing how the Lord’s Prayer provided comfort during scans and how her faith sustained her through the uncertainty and discomfort. She hints at the transformative nature of her illness, suggesting that it ultimately became a gift in her life.

She will be entering into the Catholic Church on Easter Day 2024. Please pray for her and her family in this exciting time! Continue to pray for all those who are seeking, so that they may find the truth in Jesus Christ and His Church.
